What is collected

Server logs. Our hosting provider handles the requests your browser makes and keeps standard server logs — the page requested, the time, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string.

Visit statistics. Our hosting provider’s analytics records each page view — the page, the time, the page that linked you here, and your country, device type, browser and operating system — so we can see how the Site is used. It does not set cookies.

Searches you type. When you search for a procedure or set a location, your browser sends that query to our API so it can be answered. It appears in those same server logs.

Email you send us. If you write to contact@hospitalrates.com, we receive your message and your email address. Do not send us any personal health information.

One thing stored in your browser. The home page remembers, for the length of your visit, that you have already seen the counter animation — so it does not replay on every page. It is a single value in your browser’s sessionStorage, it never leaves your device, it is not a cookie, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.

Children

The Site is a general-audience information resource and is not directed at children under 18.
